A leading organisation is seeking a Senior Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Engineer to join a high-impact programme focused on far-field voice and real-time audio intelligence. This contract role is based in London with hybrid working and will suit someone who can combine strong applied ML capability with solid software engineering and production delivery experience.
You will help build and improve machine learning models and cloud services that enable natural, responsive voice experiences across consumer devices and partner ecosystems. You will design, develop, train and optimise scalable ML models for areas such as far-field voice detection, speaker verification, wake-word/keyword spotting, and audio enhancement.
You will contribute to applied innovation across speech and audio signal processing, ASR and NLP, turning research and experimentation into measurable production improvements. You will work closely with engineers, data scientists, product stakeholders and third-party partners to deliver reliable, low-latency solutions that perform consistently at scale.
A core part of the assignment is building and operating cloud-based ML pipelines and APIs that process real-time or near-real-time audio streams.
