We are currently recruiting for an experienced Voids / Building Surveyor to join a busy public sector housing team, supporting the delivery of voids and repairs programmes across a residential portfolio. This role will involve carrying out surveys on void properties, specifying works, and managing contractors to ensure homes are returned to a lettable standard efficiently and in line with quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake void property inspections and Building Surveyor duties
  • Diagnose defects and specify required works to bring properties up to standard
  • Prepare schedules of works, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Manage contractors on site, ensuring works are completed to time, cost, and quality standards
