Location: London and North Hertfordshire Employment type: Full-time We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer to support inspection and compliance work across approximately 200 sites.
This role is best suited to a reliable engineer who enjoys testing, inspection and smaller remedial works rather than large installation projects.
The role: You will carry out electrical inspections across sites located north of the River Thames, including Hackney, Heathrow and North Hertfordshire.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out EICR inspections and issue certificates.
- Complete lightning conductor inspections.
- Undertake occasional PAT testing.
- Carry out minor electrical remedial works.
- Complete inspection reports and compliance documentation accurately.
- Manage your schedule and travel between multiple sites.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience carrying out and certifying EICR inspections.
- Relevant electrical testing and inspection qualifications.
- Experience with lightning protection inspections would be beneficial.
- A practical and dependable approach to smaller compliance and remedial works.
- Full UK right to work without sponsorship.
- Full clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Travel expenses will be covered, including parking, public transport and mileage at 55p per mile
