IT Technical Support /Data Centre Engineer /Cabling Engineer needed to work in the field covering M25 region – Chelmsford, London & Hertfordshire, must have a driving licence. Mon – Fri staggered shift with a 1 in 3 weekend rota and plenty of overtime if you want it. This role offers excellent career progression and would suite someone who has had some experience of working on Data Centre migrations. Anyone with any IT Data Centre Engineer experience would have a huge advantage. Successful IT Technical Support /Data Centre Engineer / Cabling Engineer would ideally have Data Centre knowledge – Racking, stacking, patching. Cable knowledge, including cable testing, copper and fibre. As well as fixing hardware faults, swapping drives / tapes. Experience of working within a comms room and working on Data Centre Migrations, Good knowledge Data Centre processes & Procedures. (Plus be PC literate with good Excel knowledge & experience). IT Technical Support /Data Centre Engineer/ Cabling Engineer should be methodical, logical and have excellent troubleshooting skills and want to learn, progress their career and have excellent communication skills and be client facing and hold a driving licence, we are waiting to invest in your career.
