As IT Asset & Configuration Manager / ServiceNow Manager, you will be responsible for implementing & optimising Service Asset and Configuration Management process within a large public sector managed Service account. You will support the entire IT Asset lifecycle and should have a good knowledge of how Configuration Management Database works.
Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with using ServiceNow for reporting and asset/configuration management.
- Define process & strategy, oversee process implementation and participate in centralised CMDB establishment and development, including CI baseline, relationship mapping, and CI types and attributes management.
- Support the IT Asset lifecycle and contribute to establishing and optimising CMDB and related processes.
- Work to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and demonstrate strong people and organisational skills.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience with ServiceNow for reporting and asset/configuration management.
- Strong understanding of Configuration Management Database concepts and how they apply in a large public sector Managed Service environment.
- Ability to define process, strategy, and oversee implementation; capability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
