MOT TESTER / MECHANIC

Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for an MOT Tester/Mechanic located in Upper Heyford. The role involves conducting MOT tests in compliance with industry regulations, diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues, performing routine maintenance, and documenting all work accurately.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance work
• Experience as an authorized MOT Tester with knowledge of MOT testing standards and procedures (or a willingness to obtain a testing license)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• The ability to count to 10 without wearing sandals.
• Capability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment, while maintaining organisation and efficiency
• NVQ or equivalent in automotive maintenance and repair is preferred
• A good taste in music is not essential but is preferred.
