LOCATION: Haverhill, Suffolk. CB9 8PB

Full Time permanent contract – 5 days (37.5 hours) per week 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday & 8am to 1:30pm Friday.

We are currently looking to recruit a Procurement & Stock Co-Ordinator to join our busy team. This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am – 1:30pm based at our UK manufacturing facility in Haverhill, Suffolk.

You would be required to operate within our designated Stores & Dispatch areas as part of a small, dedicated team, where we stock & distribute a broad range of components and products from small components to large boxes.

The successful candidate will need to have exceptional organisational skills, a calm and methodical approach to tackling various tasks within our busy Stores & Dispatch areas and be able to work well under pressure. Excellent communication skills, a basic mechanical understanding and the ability to work to tight deadlines using initiative are essential, as is a good eye for detail and an organised approach to work.

Working as Procurement & Stock Co-ordinator you will deal with all aspects of the Procurement, Stores & the Dispatch areas and will ideally have experience of leading a small team. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily dispatch ensuring products are finished & packed correctly and to the appropriate standards. You will be responsible for all elements of stock control - managing stock levels of raw materials, component parts and finished products as well as liaising with our supplier network for cost analysis and purchasing. You will also manage goods-in, controlling and recording receipt of goods into our computerised stock control system.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assisting and supervising of packing and dispatch team
  • Managing daily dispatch operations, including preparing paperwork, generating shipment labels, and coordinating shipments through the selected courier.
  • Ensuring quality standards are maintained and product information is correct and updated as required
  • Check and oversee finished product stock levels reporting back to Production team
  • Planning, managing and maintaining appropriate inventory stock levels
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure best prices
  • Maintaining computerised stock system
  • Unpacking deliveries, labelling boxes and placing into the correct stock locations
  • Managing dispatch and stores areas ensuring these are maintained in an organised and tidy condition
  • Liaising & communicating with sales and production team
  • General housekeeping within the dispatch and stores areas
