Core Building Technician Location: Haverhill, Suffolk. CB9 8PB

Schedule: Full‑time permanent, five days a week (37.5 hours). 8:00‑4:30 am Monday‑Thursday and 8:00‑1:30 pm Friday.

The successful candidate will need a calm and methodical approach to tackling various tasks within our busy production areas and be able to work well under pressure. Excellent communication skills, a basic mechanical understanding and the ability to work to tight deadlines using initiative are essential, as is a good eye for detail and an organised approach to work.

As a Core Building Technician you will deal with a multitude of different processes, utilising specialised machines, equipment and tooling.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Selection of correct materials as specified by the relevant build information.
  • Operation of specific equipment, machinery and hand tools in the Core Production department.
  • Processing of selected materials in preparation for building.
  • Assembly & building of Heat Exchanger Cores in preparation for Brazing.
  • Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines.
  • Informing supervisors of faulty machinery or production issues.
  • Monitoring & reporting raw material stock levels.
  • Adhering to relevant health and safety regulations when operating machinery and handling products.
  • Keeping work areas and the factory floor clean and free from hazardous material.
  • Any other duties that may be required.
