Job Description
I'm working with a well-established Top 50 accountancy firm that is looking to recruit an Audit Semi Senior into its Wigan team.
What you will be doing as an Audit Semi Senior
- You'll work closely with experienced audit professionals, supporting the delivery of audit assignments for a diverse range of clients across a variety of sectors.
- Assisting with the planning, execution and completion of audit assignments.
- Carrying out audit fieldwork, testing and preparing supporting working papers.
- Preparing statutory accounts and audit documentation where required.
- Working with clients to obtain information and resolve queries throughout the audit process.
- Supporting more junior team members and working collaboratively with colleagues across the department.
- Ensuring assignments are completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
- Developing your technical knowledge and taking on increasing responsibility as you progress.
What you will need to succeed as an Audit Semi Senior
- Experience working within an audit or accountancy practice environment.
- Progress towards ACA or ACCA qualification, with study support available.
- A solid understanding of audit procedures and accounting principles.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing your own workload.
- A proactive approach and a genuine interest in developing a long-term career in audit.
