VAT Senior Manager - Advisory
London | Hybrid Working | £90,000 + Excellent Benefits
The Role
- Lead and develop the firm's VAT advisory offering across four offices.
- Provide commercially focused advice on complex UK and international VAT matters.
- Advise on VAT groupings, partial exemption, land and property transactions, and business restructuring.
- Support corporate transactions, including VAT due diligence, transaction structuring and transfers of going concerns.
- Advise on cross-border VAT, international services and supply chain arrangements.
- Manage HMRC enquiries, voluntary disclosures and technical disputes.
- Identify VAT risks, recovery opportunities and improvements through strategic VAT reviews.
- Collaborate with Corporate Tax, Audit and Corporate Finance teams to develop advisory opportunities.
- Mentor colleagues and oversee complex, high-value VAT compliance matters.
About You
You will bring substantial VAT advisory experience gained within accountancy practice, HMRC or a comparable professional environment.
You should demonstrate excellent technical knowledge, strong client relationship management skills and the confidence to lead complex advisory projects independently.
A CTA or recognised indirect tax qualification would be advantageous, alongside experience of business development and international VAT.
