We now wish to recruit for the following position: Assistant Cook (Ref No: AC27/02)
Responsibilities will be to support the day to day running of the canteen facility.
The Role:
- Assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen
- Ensuring the planning, preparation and cooking of food is always to the highest standard.
- To ensure a safe environment is maintained in compliance with health, safety, fire and hygiene
- Maintenance of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and serving area
- Ability to manage and complete required documentation to cover due diligence, ensuring HACCP records are up to date.
Previous Experience:
- Working in a similar role
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Good communication skills - written and verbal
- The ability to demonstrate great team work skills
- Basic Food Hygiene
Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm to include a Saturday morning as part of a rota. (Hours may be subject to change during holiday times)
