We now wish to recruit for the following position: Assistant Cook (Ref No: AC27/01)
Responsibilities:
- Support the day to day running of the canteen facility.
- Assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.
- Ensure the planning, preparation and cooking of food is always to the highest standard.
- Maintain a safe environment in compliance with health, safety, fire and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and serving area.
- Manage and complete required documentation to cover due diligence, ensuring HACCP records are up to date.
- Operation of till.
- Other operational duties when required.
The Person:
- Previous experience working in a similar role.
- Flexible and adaptable approach.
- Good communication skills - written and verbal.
- The ability to demonstrate great teamwork skills.
- Basic Food Hygiene.
Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday 8.00/9.00am - 4.00pm (to be confirmed). Flexible hours may be required on a Saturday as part of a rota.
