Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities: · Oversee the overall operation of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and distribution of materials and equipment. · Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and manage the procurement of materials to prevent shortages or excess. · Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to construction site. · Supervise warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure effective performance and adherence to safety protocols. · Inspect incoming materials addressing any discrepancies or defects. · Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, deliveries, and returns, and prepare regular reports for management. · Organise warehouse layout to maximise space utilisation and improve workflow efficiency. Qualifications: · A relevant vocational qualification, such as an NVQ in Warehousing and Storage, may be beneficial. · Significant experience in warehouse management or logistics, within the MEP construction industry. · Prior supervisory or management experience is essential. · CSCS site qualifications. · Forklift Operator License (e.g., RTITB or ITSSAR) for operating warehouse equipment safely
