Key Responsibilities
- 1. Welding & Fabrication
- Perform TIG (GTAW / 141) welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
- Weld sheet, plate, tube and pipe (up to 6G coded standard where required)
- Prepare materials, set amperage, purge pipework, and finish welds
- Grind, polish and dress welds to required finish (food grade / sanitary finish where applicable)
- 2. Quality & Drawings
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols and isometric drawings
- Complete welds to BS EN ISO 9606-1 coded standard
- Carry out visual inspection, pressure tests and maintain quality records
- Ensure all work meets company QA procedures3. Workshop Duties

- Use hand tools, grinders, saws, and fabrication equipment safely
- Maintain welding plant and equipmentKeep work area clean, tidy and safe
- Work with other fabricators and fitters4.
- 4. Health & Safety
- Follow all H&S, COSHH and risk assessment proceduresWear correct PPE at all timesReport defects and safety issues
- Hold valid CSCS / CCNSG Safety Passport for site work (preferred)
Requirements
- Essential:Proven experience as TIG Welder
- Ability to weld Stainless Steel and/or Aluminium
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Own welding tools / PPERight to work in UKDesirable:Coded Welder - BS EN ISO 9606-1 (Stainless / Carbon / Aluminium)NVQ Level 3 Fabrication & Welding
- Based in Essex, Energy form Waste Site
