Responsibilities:
- Follow-up any site incidents at work or occupational diseases upon occurrence.
- Assist site management with the initial investigation of all site incidents and prepare suitable investigation reports using standard company forms.
- Prepare remedial reports as a result of any incidents in the site.
- Identify and analyze hazards and contribute to the identification and evaluation of risk reduction measures, ensuring that these are adequately documented and managed.
- Provide training to all employees based on the risk analysis made, and keep records.
- Prepare Health and Safety observation reports and submit them to the Site HSE Manager.
- Work closely with managers to complete corrective actions, carry out improvements and audit results.
- Involve and monitor daily task briefings.
- Monitor compliance with site-specific work permits.
- Work closely with colleagues at all levels to ensure compliance with relevant UK legislation, regulations, and standards.
Qualifications:
- HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent.
- Having a CSCS card.
- Proven experience with all current Health and Safety legislation.
- Stakeholder management and excellent communication / interpersonal skills.
- Holding a valid first aid certificate will be preferable.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
