Core Duties
- Machine operation: Safely operate 1.5T micro diggers up to 30T+ 360 excavators. Tracks + wheels
- Groundworks: Dig foundations, trenches, basements, reduce levels, pond/attenuation tanks
- Loading: Load dumpers, wagons, skips. Sling loads with chains/straps
- Grading & profiling: Fine grading, battering slopes, footings to laser/level
- Breaking out: Use hydraulic breaker, bucket, auger, grapple, quick hitch attachments
- Site set-up: Check ground conditions, position machine safely, set up exclusion zones
- Maintenance: Daily checks, grease, fluids, report defects. Clean machine + keep it tidy
- Safety: Follow RAMS, use banksman/signaller, underground services checks with CAT & Genny
