1. Installation & Fitting:
- Install various cladding systems, primarily rainscreen façades, composite panels, and sheet materials (e.g., aluminium, ceramic, terracotta, fibre cement).
- Fit insulation boards and ensure a continuous insulation layer, paying close attention to thermal efficiency and vapour control.
- Install supporting framework/rails to the building structure, ensuring it is level, plumb, and secure.
- Apply sealants, gaskets, and flashings to ensure the building envelope is weather-tight and water-resistant.
2. Interpretation & Planning:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, façade details, and manufacturer's installation guides.
- Plan the installation sequence for optimal efficiency and safety.
Essential Preferred / Advantageous:
- CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker) - Mandatory for site access.
- NVQ Level 2 in Cladding or Façade Installation.
- Proven experience as a Cladding Installer on UK projects.
- CPCS/NPORS Card for operating MEWPs (e.g., 3a/3b).
