Produce, review and approve Lift Plans, Method Statements and Risk Assessments for Category A, B & C lifts
Create and check rigging diagrams, sling configurations, CoG calculations for large bore pipe spools (up to 20T+), vessels and skids
Select cranes, mobile cranes, gantry systems, chain blocks, winches and lifting accessories based on load, radius and ground conditions
Plan lift & shift sequences for pipe racks, piperacks modules, absorber columns and compressor packages
Chair lift briefings and toolbox talks with crane supervisors, slinger/signallers and rigging crews - 2. Rigging & Heavy Pipe Specifics
Calculate weights, centres of gravity, sling tensions and D/d ratios for irregular pipe spools, flanged joints and coated pipe
Specify use of spreader beams, equalizer beams, soft slings on coated / stainless pipe to prevent damage
Oversee trial lifts, load movements in congested new-build areas, and blind lifts
