Our client is seeking a Project Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. Duties will include:
- Management of Project Control
- Monitor and track all projects with a value over £20,000 to identify those failing to achieve their expected level of profit.
- Proactively manage the variation procedure to ensure that variation orders are tracked and processed in accordance with customer time requirements.
- Manage the engineer timesheet process on a monthly basis.
- Set up and maintain project correspondence log and files.
- Assist with the preparation of project reports.
- Attend internal and subcontractor team meetings as necessary to gather the information needed to maintain the project control data.
- Ensure appropriate control mechanisms are set up and management for sub-projects.
- Assist with the preparation of project board papers and reports.
- Operate within procedures set and ensure that the requirements of those procedures are reflected in the project plan.
- Any other tasks as required.
Financial Control:
- Create and maintain a cost forecast that tracks actual and forecast costs against the project.
- Maintain the project turnover forecast and assist with the general management of regular customer invoices.
- Ensure that invoice payments are monitored and overdue invoices highlighted for resolution by the Project Manager.
