My client is seeking a friendly and engaging Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.\\n\\nRole Overview:\\n\\nWe are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist with a proven track record in financial management. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nSales Ledger:\\n\\nManage billing, credit control, debt collection, and payment schedules.\\n\\nHandle client onboarding.\\n\\nOversee retention payments and ensure compliance with contract terms.\\n\\nPurchase Ledger:\\n\\nProcess supplier and contractor invoices efficiently.\\n\\nReconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.\\n\\nManage the supplier and subcontractor onboarding process.\\n\\nPursue rebate schedules and credit notes.\\n\\nForecast and Prepare supplier and subcontractor payment runs.\\n\\nResolve accounts in debit balance and handle supplier invoice queries.\\n\\nMaintain the CRM system and reconcile with accounting software.\\n\\nReview aged debtor and creditor reports and take necessary actions.\\n\\nExpenses:\\n\\nProcess business expenses within Sage accounting software.\\n\\nOther Responsibilities:\\n\\nPerform bank reconciliations & credit card accounts.\\n\\nHandle ad hoc administrative tasks as required.\\n\\nManage the Vehicle Register\\n\\nPerform daily backups of accounting system data.\\n\\nComplete VAT and CIS returns.\\n\\nConduct nominal and tax code checks for financial reporting accuracy.\\n\\nMaintain project status accuracy in Sage.\\n\\nManage intercompany cross charges.\\n\\nSkills & Experience:\\n\\nExperience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a Finance Assistant or similar role\\n\\nOrganisation: Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and take initiative.\\n\\nCommunication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels both internally and externally.\\n\\nAttention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail across all tasks.\\n\\nTechnology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong knowledge of accounting software.\\n\\nAdaptability: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.\\n\\nPrize Placements is acting as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.\\n\\nWe regret that we are unable to respond to all applications.
