An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative designer to join my client on a permanent basis. Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.
Key Roles:
- Plan, oversee and coordinate design elements of Sales & Marketing projects
- Responsible for monitoring design activities to align with project goals and timelines
- Creating design briefs whilst working to brand guidelines
- New packaging design and development
- Design support for events, global launches and other industry/company activities
- Review and redesign of existing and new promotional material/POS
- Providing design advice and proposals according to objectives
- Support with maintenance (software package) and design of company e-catalogue
- Work alongside agencies and suppliers to co-ordinate/follow agreed brand projects/goals
- Inhouse upkeep of company website and trade marketing portal including content design
- Work alongside external agency for technical design/functionality of company website
- Monitor industry/product news on-line for design innovation and proposals
- Editing media content and monitoring digital marketing activities
- Manage and monitor briefings/content with external media sources
Skills:
- Proficient in mainstream design packages e.g Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Figma, PowerPoint
- Experience with managing and executing design briefs from conception to completion
- Design, communication and negotiation skills
- Technical skills for back-end website maintenance and design
- Brand management (Art working packaging and Marketing material)
- General computer skills e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel and typing skills
- An understanding of digital media, print terminology and best practices
- Experience in digital marketing (website, asset management & email marketing)
- Proficient with marketing software (Mailchimp)
- Web platform, content management and codebase knowledge (WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SEO & Google Analytics)
- Video editing (e.g. Adobe Premiere)
- Competent with digital publication software
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
- Work as part of a team to complete department objectives
- Written communication skills
Office based role for 5 days during initial 4-month probation period; 4 days office and 1 day work from home (Friday) after successful probation.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Holiday: 25 days per annum.
