Our client is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Duties:
- Receive Architect's drawings and turn them into X-refs for internal use.
- Create / maintain our companies Audio Visual, Passive Infrastructure, Security & Smart building drawings.
- Maintain / improve standards across all drawings.
- Make sure all information on the drawings is up to date and correct before issuing.
- Assist the consultants with any design requirements they need i.e. equipment detail drawings, SER layouts etc.
- Attending Client meetings where applicable.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the management of Drawings Department.
- Report to directors any internal issues.
- Being aware of themselves and those around them and act in a safe and healthy manner.
- Adhere to the IMS Policies, Manuals and Procedures that are included in the IMS.
- Identify and report any hazards or risks.
Skills / Requirements:
- Strong understanding of AutoCAD and REVIT.
- Experience working with floor plans and elevations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel.
- Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint.
- Time Management - able to work to a deadline.
- Good Communication Skills.
