Operations Manager in Netley

PrixCar Services is an automotive logistics company specialising in Vehicle Transport, Vehicle Processing and Storage, Fleet Conversions and Dealer Vehicle Storage. We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Manager to join the team. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of operational excellence. Leading the operations, developing and implementing a range of customer and business initiatives designed to successfully deliver contracted KPI’s, whilst ensuring our facilities continue to operate under a safe and compliant environment.

We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee our Netley operations based at our SAPOL site.

What You Will Do

• Organising the planning, leading and control of all production and yard operational services and effectively matching and controlling labour requirements to effectively meet the customer needs;
• Coordinate all aspects of the SAPOL account to ensure that all revenue is captured, expenses controlled;
• Managing the contract terms, conditions and performance to KPI commitment;
• To develop the SAPOL account and personnel in line with established company strategy;
• Identifying and implementing changes in the operational function to raise standards of safety, service and performance;
• Effective management of labour efficiency and utilisation, cost and containment to budget levels;
• Effective management of site administration, production and sub-contractor functions;
• Coordinating the review of measuring equipment calibration records and arranging for re-testing/calibration as required;
• Supervise the operation of the parts store to ensure adequate stock levels and quarantine of defective parts;
• Ensure Prixcar’s Quality System and total quality management is implemented and understood for all aspects of service, workmanship, procedures, work instructions and conformance to company standards;
• Promote a continuously improving service culture within the branch and implement quality principles;
• Perform or assist with quality audits and incident investigations and implement any corrective actions where necessary;
• Promoting and ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.

What You Will Bring

• A minimum of 3 years experience in an Operations Manager role or similar;
• You are an inspirational leader with a passion for effective processing operations, HSEQ & service delivery;
• You have the ability to engage with team members at all levels and utilise your relationships to achieve operational KPIs and efficiencies;
• Experience working within the automotive industry with technical acumen would be highly regarded;
• You are a solution focussed approach and a demonstrated background in superior operational performance and people management;
• You are respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional values in everything you do.
