About PriView
PriView is building the portfolio intelligence platform for investors in private funds. Limited Partners, including family offices, asset managers, pension funds, foundations and endowments, receive large volumes of complex and fragmented reporting from their private equity, venture capital and other private-market investments. PriView uses AI to ingest, structure and enrich this information, giving investment teams a clearer and more timely understanding of their portfolios. Our platform helps investors analyse performance, understand their underlying company exposures, monitor portfolio developments and make better-informed investment decisions.
We are a growing London-based team, backed and advised by experienced technology and investment founders, including Justin Kan, co-founder of Twitch and former Y Combinator partner. Our ambition is to become the AI-powered operating system for private-markets investors.
The Role
PriView is looking for a highly capable and ambitious Private Markets Operations Associate to join our team. This is a broad, hands-on role at the intersection of private markets, financial data, customer operations and product development. You will help onboard new customers, turn complex fund reporting into reliable portfolio data, investigate financial and data-quality issues, test new product capabilities and improve how we operate as the business grows.
You will work closely with PriView’s founders, technical team, other members of the operations team and institutional customers. As part of a small company, you will have meaningful responsibility from the outset and visibility across nearly every part of the business. The role would suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail, learns quickly and wants to build a career at the intersection of finance and technology.
What You’ll Do
- Support the implementation and onboarding of new customers, including gathering data, coordinating access to reporting sources and managing onboarding workflows.
- Review, validate and enrich data extracted from capital account statements, quarterly reports and other private-fund documents and apply financial judgement to incomplete or unusual information.
- Reconcile fund, transaction, performance and portfolio-company information across different reporting periods and source documents.
- Work directly with customers to resolve questions, explain data and ensure that PriView accurately reflects their portfolios.
- Analyse private companies, funds and portfolios to uncover insights, validate assumptions and understand the drivers of performance and exposure.
- Test new features and data pipelines, document bugs and work closely with the technical team to diagnose and resolve issues, and improve internal onboarding and documentation processes.
- Contribute to customer reporting, product development and other strategic or operational projects as the business grows.
About You
You are likely to have between one and four years of relevant professional experience, although we care more about your capabilities, judgement and attitude than a particular career path. You may currently work in private-markets operations, fund administration, audit, transaction services, consulting, asset management, portfolio monitoring, investor relations or a financial-data or fintech business.
You will ideally have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an intellectual curiosity of financial and company information.
- A good understanding of accounting and the ability to interpret financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash-flow statements.
- An interest in private equity, venture capital and the way private investment portfolios are structured and reported.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large, imperfect or inconsistently formatted datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to work directly with sophisticated institutional investors.
- A high level of ownership and the ability to operate effectively in an early-stage environment.
Why Join Us
- Join a growing fintech company solving a significant and poorly served problem for private-markets investors.
- Work directly with the founders and have meaningful responsibility from the beginning.
- Gain exposure to leading family offices, asset managers, pension funds, foundations and other institutional investors.
- Develop experience across private markets, financial analysis, artificial intelligence, product development and customer operations.
- Help shape PriView’s product, operating processes and company culture as the business scales.
