About the Role
We are seeking an organised, detail-focused, Italian-speaking account assistant to join our finance team in Stevenage. This part-time hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong accounting support skills, excellent communication abilities, and fluency in both Italian and English. You will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day financial operations and providing support for Italian-speaking customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process invoices, credit notes, and expense claims
- Perform bank reconciliations and update ledgers accurately
- Chase outstanding payments and manage supplier queries
- Support month-end tasks, including journal entries and reporting
- Communicate with Italian-speaking clients and suppliers (phone/email)
