A boutique concierge company based in Kensington is looking for a technically minded assistant to drive forward an internal AI and automation project while helping with the day-to-day running of a small, close-knit office. This is a genuinely varied, hands-on role, and the core of it is technical. You will work directly on our internal AI tools and systems, building, testing and improving how we use AI across the business. Alongside this you will give practical support to the Directors and the wider team. It suits someone who is genuinely strong with AI and code, and who also enjoys being a useful, organised, central part of a small team.

A note on the bar: We already use tools like ChatGPT and Claude confidently and can code at a basic level in-house. We are not looking for someone at that level. We need someone clearly beyond it: someone who builds rather than just uses, who can design and ship automations, work with APIs, and solve technical problems independently without hand-holding.

About you

  • Two to three years in a technical, operations or assistant role where you actually built or automated things
  • Genuine, demonstrable AI fluency well beyond everyday ChatGPT or Claude use: you can show tools, workflows or integrations you have built, ideally using APIs, retrieval, or custom prompting and automation
  • Solid working coding ability: comfortable writing and reading code in at least one language (Python or JavaScript most likely), and confident adapting and debugging your own work
  • A fast, self-directed learner who enjoys solving practical problems and works independently
  • Highly organised, discreet and calm under pressure
  • A team player happy to turn their hand to admin and PA tasks when needed

Desirable

  • A degree in a numerate or technical subject (computer science, maths, engineering), though strong self-taught candidates are equally welcome
  • Experience with automation platforms, APIs, or no-code and low-code tools
  • Previous work in a small team or a high-service, discreet environment

The role

  • Hands-on work on our AI and automation projects: building, testing and improving internal tools
  • Automating manual processes so the team works faster and better
  • Researching, trialling and recommending new AI tools and approaches
  • PA and EA support to the Directors, including diary, travel and ad hoc requests
  • Day-to-day admin: expenses, gifts, office operations and suppliers
  • Supporting lifestyle team needs including events, travel and documents
  • Maintaining systems, databases and accurate records

To apply

Please send your CV along with a short note or example describing an AI tool or automation you have built, the problem it solved, and how you made it. This matters more to us than a formal qualification. This role suits someone who wants to be hands-on with AI inside a real business, enjoys variety, and wants to be a key part of a small, high-performing team in a luxury service environment.
