If you have always wanted to run a pub in Central then this opportunity is for you. It's live in, too, minutes from Oxford Circus. You may already be an AGM looking to run their own pub within 6 months. With this job you can do that. Or you may have at least 2 years front of house pub experience in a busy environment looking for the next step up. We can provide the training help and support for both. This role offers an exciting opportunity for people with a passion for a traditional pub offering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experience, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of our beer, and of food safety and quality. The position includes live-in accommodation, providing a unique chance to immerse yourself fully in everything Central London has to offer.

Duties
  • Run the pub when the GM is not around.
  • Supervise and support team members, including front-of-house and kitchen staff.
  • Assist in managing daily food operations, ensuring smooth service delivery.
  • Manage all elements of the beer, wine and spirits cellar.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practice.
  • Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality and customer service.
  • Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service areas.
  • Support in organising events or special functions hosted at the venue.
