We are seeking an experienced House Assistant to join a fully staffed private household in Knightsbridge, London. This role is comparable to a yacht stewardess/chalet host position, delivering exceptional F&B service standards for the UHNW family. The successful candidate will work alongside other House Assistants in an established household team including chefs, nannies, chauffeurs and security, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the home and an outstanding experience for the principals and their guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver five-star F&B service for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including formal and informal table service
- Prepare dining table and service areas to an exceptional standard
- Liaise closely with chefs to ensure seamless food and beverage service
- Maintain immaculate presentation of front-of-house and communal areas of the home
- Support occasional small events (i.e. business lunches and dinners) and guest entertaining within the residence
- Work collaboratively with other household staff
- Adhere to the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism and attention to detail
- Assist with luggage packing, unpacking and F&B service requirements when travelling with the family
Candidate Requirements
- Previous private household experience is ideal
- Background in luxury service environments (UHNW homes, yachts, private villas, boutique 5* hotels or similar)
- Yacht experience and relevant qualifications (e.g. interior service, silver service, wine knowledge) highly desirable
- Impeccable presentation and communication skills
- Naturally service-led with a calm, polished and proactive approach
- Comfortable working within a large, structured household team
- Flexible attitude to working hours and duties as required
- Absolute discretion and professionalism at all times
- Live within commutable distance to Knightsbridge and Guilford
Additional Information
- Based primarily in Knightsbridge, London but also travel to the weekend residence in Guilford
