Private Therapy Clinic is a UK-based psychological service providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health and neurodevelopmental assessments across the UK and Ireland. Our multidisciplinary team includes HCPC-registered psychologists, psychiatrists, BABCP-accredited CBT therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Mental Health Nurses, and specialist neurodiversity practitioners.

We deliver ethical, clinically robust autism and ADHD assessments for children, adolescents, and young people, operating within clear governance frameworks and multidisciplinary decision-making processes. All diagnoses are confirmed through a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure accuracy, consistency, and best practice.

We are recruiting Psychological Therapists, Psychology Graduates, Neurodiversity Practitioners, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Mental Health Nurses to join our in-person assessment team in Suffolk. This role focuses on conducting ADOS-2 assessments and contributing to ADHD assessment pathways for children and adolescents. You will not be responsible for making diagnoses. Instead, you will complete structured assessments and detailed clinical reports that are presented to a multidisciplinary team, where final diagnostic decisions are made by senior clinicians (e.g. consultant psychologists or psychiatrists).

Full ADOS-2 training and role-specific onboarding will be provided, regardless of professional background.

  • Present findings to the multidisciplinary team for diagnostic discussion
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-professional MDT
  • Engage sensitively with children, young people, and families
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, confidentiality, and ethical practice
  • Ensure all documentation meets clinical governance and data protection standards
Scope of Practice (Important)
