Job Description

We are seeking a self-employed compassionate and reliable live-in carer/companion for our elderly father, who has mild Alzheimer’s. This is a full-time position based in a farmhouse on a working farm just outside Shrewsbury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Support: Assist with mobility, including transfers and use of mobility aids.

  • Meal Preparation: Plan and cook nutritious meals.
  • \\n

  • Companionship: Engage in activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.

  • Appointments & Errands: Accompany to medical appointments and grocery shopping.
  • \\n

  • Medication Support: Assist with preparing weekly medication as prescribed.
  • \\n

  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.

  • Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in condition to the employer.
