The Role: As an Event Technology Executive, you’ll play a key role in delivering seamless, high‑quality scheduling and networking experiences across our global hosted‑buyer events. You’ll support the smooth operation of our event‑tech platforms, ensuring buyers and suppliers connect effortlessly through personalised meeting schedules.

In this role, you’ll work closely with Operations, Customer Experience, Marketing, and our external technology partners to configure platforms, troubleshoot issues, and build tailored meeting programmes that elevate the client experience. You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced environment, combining technical capability with practical problem‑solving to help deliver market‑leading events.

You’ll be a core member of the Event Technology Team, contributing directly to the success of our M&I, Private Luxury Events, and TFest brands by ensuring our technology consistently performs at the highest standard. This is a Permanent (Full-Time) opportunity reporting to the Event Technology Manager.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Be the Platform Maestro: You’ll masterfully configure and operate our state‑of‑the‑art networking platform, ensuring it meets the unique needs of each event and its delegates.
  • Own the Delegate Experience: From setting up delegate profiles to fine‑tuning personalised meeting schedules, you’ll ensure attendees have a seamless, productive, and engaging experience.
  • Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: You’ll act as the key bridge between teams, aligning platform operations with event goals and delivering on client needs.
  • Adapt and Innovate: Whether it’s addressing last‑minute changes or optimising schedules in real‑time, you’ll thrive in managing dynamic environments.
  • Shape Event Success: Through on‑site and remote support, you’ll ensure smooth operations and troubleshoot any issues to keep the event running flawlessly, as well as spot gaps and suggest AI‑first improvements to ways of working and delegates’ experiences.

The role is dynamic, involving a mix of technical, analytical, and client‑facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Platform Management: Set up and run the networking platform for events (Grip). Liaise with other departments to meet publication deadlines, providing internal training, guidance on platform processes, and support with new functionalities where required. Ensure event‑specific requirements are met and signed off on. Perform quality control of the platform, including ensuring the accuracy of delegate profiles and reviewing for grammar/spelling mistakes.
  • Meeting Scheduling: Creating and tailoring meeting schedules. Ensure the delivery of the best possible set of meeting schedules to delegates. Ensure all delegates’ meeting preferences are considered in a timely manner. Create meeting schedules and adjust them according to client feedback before and during events.
  • Remote Support for Events: Ensure the smooth running of the networking platform and meetings. Improve schedules with feedback from delegates. Action last‑minute changes to the content on the platform as required.

You’ll thrive in this Event Technology Executive role if you bring:

  • Experience in a similar event technology or operations role within meetings, events, hospitality, or related industries.
  • Hands‑on experience with event technology platforms such as Grip, Cvent, or similar registration/agenda management systems, plus familiarity with survey tools like Survicate or SurveyMonkey.
  • AI‑first thinking and routine use of LLMs (Copilot, ChatGPT) to support critical thinking, troubleshooting, and solution‑finding.
  • Strong technical capability, including confident use of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a logical, problem‑solving mindset and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A proactive, calm and flexible approach, able to manage evolving business and client requirements while delivering multiple projects to deadline without compromising quality.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to build relationships across departments and work effectively with technical teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, alongside strong organisational and time‑management skills.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and data analysis.
  • Experience using platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Ability to produce process documentation, user guides, SOPs, and deliver user training or technical support to internal or external stakeholders.
  • Exposure to project management and collaboration tools such as Airtable, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or similar.

We offer a thoughtful package designed to support your wellbeing, growth, and work‑life balance. Basic salary of £30,000 per annum. 28 days holiday plus UK.
