I am looking for a Personal Assistant to become part of my 1:1 home health care team of 5 people. (ME16, Kent). 1 Day per week (plus opportunities for extra hours). £13.59-£15 per hour (see below). Friday or Sunday NHS Funded, complex postural care (full training provided) I am looking for a compassionate, self motivated and well organised individual with a desire to provide the best support possible. Im a wheelchair user who enjoys quiet, gentle days at home, sometimes doing my hobbies (hobby board games , paper craft, computer use) and enjoying my garden and wildlife. Alongside essential health care, personal care and domestic assistance, Im looking for a personal assistant who can enable me to have the best days I can – which also supports my husband. I have employed staff for over 30 years using Direct Payments and have very good relationships with my assistants. I offer: Comprehensive induction 6 month paid training program (I have complex postural care and use a ventilator) Easy parking Fully insured PAYE operated Free health care worker yearly vaccines for C-19 and Influenza. Statutory Employment provision (holiday, sick pay, pensions etc) *No sponsorship available. *Female applicants only due to intimate personal care. About You: Female Applicants only Applicants who are able to offer some holiday and emergency cover for other staff will be prioritised in short listing. You must have strong English language communication skills including reading, writing and verbally. You will need to be within 40 minutes travel time from ME16 and be able to drive a manual car (aged over 25 for my insurance) as I may ask you to be on-call during your work hours and I may need you to drive my car to attend appointments. Priority will be given to applicants who can work on a Sunday but I am interested in people who may be able to do any of the beneath as existing staff could possibly swap their day.
