About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant/Carer to support a 15‑year‑old girl with complex care needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a young person’s life by providing tailored care and assistance to help her live as independently and comfortably as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Support with complex healthcare needs such as Epilepsy and diabetes.
- Support with mobility and transfers.
- Administer medication as required (training provided).
- Assist with social activities and community engagement.
- Work collaboratively with family and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care.
About You
- Caring, patient, and committed to supporting young people with additional needs.
- Previous experience in care or working with children with complex needs is desirable but not essential—full training will be provided.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the family’s privacy.
- Reliable and flexible with good communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS check required (This will be funded by the employer).
- Full clean driving licence preferred but not essential.
