Part time care assistant required for private household (Wick BS30). My home is approximately 10 minutes from Kingswood, 22 minutes from Bath, or 25 minutes from Bristol centre and there’s free parking just outside. I’m looking for a care assistant to join our lovely team to help me with my day to day needs in my own house. I’m a disabled lady who uses a wheelchair and I share my home with a small dog (so dog lovers a bonus).

Your role would include:

  • Daily activities within the home
  • Personal care tasks
  • Cleaning/shopping
  • Meal preparation
  • Driving my Renault Master van to appointments or social activities
  • Telephone calls/form filling
  • Maintaining confidentiality

I’m mainly looking for cover for the following hours:

  • Every Wednesday 8-10 a.m.
  • Every other Saturday 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Every other Sunday 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

There will also be other shifts available on an “as and when” basis. The wages are £12.40 per hour on a weekday and £15.40 per hour on a weekend. Bank holidays and after 9 p.m. on a weekday are paid at weekend rate.
