Compensation and Hours
SALARY: £12.71 per hour. Holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks (28 days pro-rata). Pension. Hours: 16 – 30 hours per week (flexibility – day and night shifts).
Role Summary
Life Auxiliaries are integral team members dedicated to empowering and facilitating Howard to maintain his independence in his own home. They consistently deliver personalised support and care, focusing on Howard’s individual needs. Reliability is essential in this role, delivering care in Howard’s home, assisting him in daily routines, always maintaining confidentiality.
Duties include personal, social, and enabling care to support him in and around home and within the community, to help him achieve his short and long-term goals. This involves working respectfully and cooperatively with Howard and his team. Experience with children is also required whether gained on a personal or in a professional level. At times you may be required to travel with Howard and potentially be away overnight. A DBS check will be required, with the cost of which will be covered by Wicks Enterprise, along with two employer references.
