I am looking for a reliable, organised and trustworthy Personal Assistant to provide practical support in my home and occasionally assist me with accessing the local community. Good physical health is essential, as the role may involve pushing a wheelchair and occasionally helping to manoeuvre or lift an electric wheelchair out of the house. This is a regular weekly position working one 4-hour shift on Fridays, with opportunities for additional paid hours throughout the year to cover annual leave and sickness for another member of the team. I am looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can use their own initiative, and is interested in building a long-term working relationship.
Responsibilities
- Household cleaning and tidying
- Laundry and changing bedding
- Meal preparation and cooking
- Preparing meals for the weekend
- Food preparation and batch cooking
- Recycling and putting bins out
- Food shopping and collecting prescriptions
- Helping to organise household systems and routines
