We are looking for a female caregiver to support a woman who lives alone in her own home.

Responsibilities:

  • Personal care, self-care, hair, manual handling, hoisting, domestic duties, food prep
  • Driving her vehicle and managing day-to-day living
  • Medication management and support with continence (bladder and bowels)
  • Encourage independence by facilitating community activities, seeing friends and family, going to work and attending events across the UK (mainly day shifts)
  • Stay overnight or for longer periods on rare occasions (costs covered)
  • Assist with employed work and care of her friendly pet dog

We are currently seeking a female member of staff to support the resident.

Job: 1-1 care, fun, support a young outgoing confident woman in a wheelchair to live independently, go to work, travel and enjoy community life. Flexible shifts.

About You:

  • Previous care experience not necessary but preferred
  • Are caring & compassionate
  • Have excellent communication skills and are good listeners

  • Able to work unsupervised and use own initiative
