We are looking for an experienced, compassionate nurse to provide one-to-one care for our lovely 4-year-old daughter at our family home in Fulham. Our daughter has a tracheostomy and is PEG fed. She is happy, sociable, and we want someone who will not only keep her safe and well, but help her enjoy every day to the full. She has a little sister who is two, and you would be joining a warm household team that also includes our housekeeper/nanny.
The role:
- Full tracheostomy care: suctioning, stoma care, tape and tube changes, and emergency airway management
- Managing PEG feeds, water flushes and medication administration
- Day-to-day monitoring of her health, comfort and wellbeing
- Supporting her at home and out and about β activities, appointments and, in time, school
- Keeping clear care records and liaising with our family, GP and community teams
About you:
- NMC-registered nurse β ideally RN (Child), or with strong paediatric complex care experience
- Confident and up to date in tracheostomy care and enteral (PEG) feeding
- Paediatric basic life support trained
- Enhanced DBS, excellent references and the right to work in the UK
- Warm, calm and wonderful with young children
