Collaboration: The PEP team works closely with the investment teams at Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners across the US, UK and Australian energy markets. PEP was established to provide Quinbrook with enhanced capability in project origination, development, asset management and revenue optimisation.
Role: The Ledger Clerk is a key role within the Finance function, holding primary responsibility for the accurate and timely recording of transactional data across all of the entities in the portfolio, reconciliation of banks and supplier balances, transacting employee expenses as well as other finance-related tasks. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the role is hybrid with 3 days per week in our Swindon office and 2 days from home.
Key Duties:
- Accurate and timely entry of pending vendor invoices in Xero
- Monitoring and chasing approval of invoices by the business
- Preparation of payment run proposal for supplier/employee expenses payments
- Preparation of upload file for processing payment runs through bank
- Matching AP payments in Xero
- Handling supplier queries
- New supplier onboarding
- Matching AR receipts in Xero
- Bank reconciliations
Qualifications / Experience:
- Solid experience across many of the key duties listed above
- Purchase ledger: Ideally ~3 years’ experience
- Experience in multi-entity structures
- Respond quickly to changing work demands and culture
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Xero and MS office applications
