Personal Support Assistant/Carer in Saintfield

I am looking for a Personal Assistant / Carer to support me in my own home and with day-to-day activities, helping me to live as independently as possible and assisting with tasks I would normally do myself if I were able. This role can be filled by one person working 30 hours per week, or as a job share between two people, with flexibility around how the hours are covered. This could involve splitting individual shifts, such as one person assisting with the morning routine and another covering the later part of the day, or dividing the working days between two people across the week. There may also be an occasional need for flexibility to work outside these usual hours.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support throughout the day, assistance with showering, dressing and other daily living needs.
• Domestic duties and household tasks.
• Swimming support. Providing companionship. Promote independence. Support outings.

Skills and Qualifications

• Flexible and willing to work as part of a shared support arrangement. Flexibility to work outside hours when needed.
• Able to start work at 7:00am. Access to/own transport.
• Experience in care or support work is preferred, but training can be provided for the right person.

Further Information

Work Time: Either one person 30 hours per week or job share between two people at approximately 15 to 16 hours each. Monday to Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7.00am to around 2.00pm. Wednesday 7.00am to around 10.00am.
