Overview
Job Purpose: To assist the employer with heating frozen vegetables, preparing porridge in the microwave, loading and unloading the dishwasher and washing up.
Hours of work:
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays: 12:30-14:30 (for assistance with food preparation)
- Mondays and Thursdays: 14:00-16:00 (for assistance with food preparation and washing up)
- Sundays: 13:00-15:00 (for assistance with food preparation)
Rate of pay: £14.00-£14.75 per hour (rate to be confirmed by Hampshire County Council).
Start date: As soon as possible once employment checks have been completed and payroll is in place.
About the Employer: The employer is a 37-year-old woman with a neurological condition that causes muscle fatigue and pain. As a result, she requires assistance with very light physical tasks. She benefits from a calm, quiet environment and may need space at times to focus on tasks independently. She values a respectful, patient approach and someone who supports her independence.

- Clear communicator including the ability to communicate in English coherently at all times.
- Able to understand English sufficiently to follow instructions.
