Looking for a male Support Worker to support an adult male in his own flat.

The Service User is 28 years old and has a diagnosis of Autism and is nonverbal.

He has no challenging behaviour and is not aggressive.

Rate of pay = £15.50 per hour

Full (paid) training will be provided.

Thursday 3pm-10pm/

Thursday night sleep in

You will support him to make his dinner and supervise him in his flat. He is independent with all his personal care needs.

To Support him with household chores.

Full training will be given.

1.You must have a good understanding of the needs of people who have learning disabilities – Autism.

2.The ability to assist the service user in accessing community resources and activities identified as part of their Person-Centred Support Plan.

3.The ability to communicate with the nonverbal service User by a visual timetable.

  1. You should also be available to work shift work and sleep in (where applicable).

5.There will be lone working but telephone support when needed.

6.To ensure that the highest quality of care is maintained always and to consistently display a courteous and helpful manner.

7.You must be able to administer medication safely (Training provided)
