Private & Business PA / EA

Central London | Full-time | 70% Private PA / 30% Business EA

We are looking for an exceptional Private & Business PA / EA to support a UHNW principal and their family based in Central London. The role is weighted approximately 70% private PA (family, household and lifestyle) and 30% business EA (office, investment and professional affairs).

This is a busy, varied and hands-on role requiring someone highly organised, proactive and discreet, who can seamlessly manage both private and business affairs. Responsibilities include coordinating international travel and detailed itineraries, managing personal and
family appointments, liaising with household staff and external stakeholders, and overseeing a range of ad hoc projects.

The successful candidate will be a natural problem-solver who anticipates needs, manages competing priorities and ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. No two days will be the same, so flexibility, initiative and a genuine willingness to go above and beyond are key.

Core Responsibilities

Private PA (c. 70%)

  • Manage day-to-day priorities and anticipate needs before they arise.
  • Support with personal and family diary coordination.
  • Plan and book travel, holidays and experiences end to end, producing detailed itineraries and handling last-minute changes.
  • Liaise with and coordinate household staff, ensuring standards are met and that the principals' homes run smoothly.
  • Oversee property maintenance, contractors and suppliers across residences, and manage refurbishment or move-related projects.
  • Manage household and personal payments, budgets and reconciliations in coordination with the family office and accountants.
  • Track contracts, renewals, memberships, insurances and key documents (passports, visas, registrations), keeping records organised and up to date.
  • Organise events, gifting, dinners and special occasions with care and attention to detail.

Business EA (c. 30%)

  • Support with business diary and correspondence as needed.
  • Coordinate meetings, calls and business travel, preparing briefing packs and papers in advance.
  • Liaise with the family office team, external advisors, banks, lawyers and investment counterparties.
  • Handle sensitive correspondence and confidential documentation, drafting and following up on actions.
  • Support ad hoc business projects and maintain organised filing and records.

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Experience: Proven track record supporting a UHNW individual or family in both a private and business capacity, with demonstrable longevity in previous roles.
  • Discretion & Integrity: An impeccable record of confidentiality. A comprehensive background check and NDA are required.
  • Proactive Problem-Solver: Anticipates needs, takes initiative and resolves issues before they reach the principal.
  • Resilience: Calm under pressure and comfortable managing last-minute changes and competing priorities.
  • Flexible & Responsive: Understands the nature of a UHNW role and is willing to be responsive outside standard hours when needed.
  • Autonomy & Teamwork: Confident working independently and as part of a wider family office and household team. Only needs to be briefed once.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptionally thorough, with nothing missed and everything recorded.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Polished, articulate and to the point, both written and verbal.
  • Tech-Proficient: Strong Google Workspace skills and comfortable adopting new tools.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PA / EA looking for a varied and rewarding position within a fast-paced UHNW environment, working closely with the principal and a small, high-performing team.
