We are looking for a sophisticated, high-energy Senior Private PA / EA to act as the right hand to a Principal in Marylebone. This role is for a meticulous, dedicated professional who has strong experience with organising and managing busy schedules on multiple levels; professional and domestic, and experience within the recruitment sector. You will be the "anchor" of both the private office and family milestones, ensuring every detail is executed to a flawless standard. This position involves coordinating appointments, schools, tutors, activities and international travel and logistics, as well as leading the recruitment of staff and planning important family events.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and possess excellent communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced working environment. Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and a commitment to maintaining a well-functioning household will be crucial in meeting the family’s needs effectively. A flexible approach, with openness to be contacted out of working hours, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders are essential for this role.

The Role

  • Diary Management & Scheduling: Proactive diary management and coordination of complex international travel and logistics.
  • Staffing & Talent: Leading of the recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, onboarding, and managing household personnel using your industry expertise.
  • Digital & Private Administration: Managing sensitive correspondence, medical appointments, and financial renewals with absolute discretion.
  • Principal Support: Acting as a trusted gatekeeper and representative, comfortable running errands and managing lifestyle requests with efficiency.
  • Event Management: Taking the lead on family celebrations, specifically planning, organising and overseeing creative children’s birthday parties, to ensure perfect execution.

  • Calendar Management: Extensive experience managing multiple, complex calendars; expert at juggling and shifting priorities with precision.
  • Recruitment Expertise: A mandatory background within a recruitment firm, to headhunt and manage top-tier household staff.
  • Tech-Savvy: Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, digital security, and seamless tech troubleshooting.
  • Driving Licence: A clean driving license is necessary to assist with local errands.
  • Flexible: flexibility to be contacted out of hours and occasionally travel for up to weeks at a time.
  • A "Hands-on" Professional: you value being present on-site for key events.
