A busy household is looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable housekeeper to maintain the smooth running of the home. The property has a gardener and part-time PA. The home and gardens host several charitable events each year, along with a variety of social events and dinner parties. The owner also has a small travel business, so she will be away at times.
The role:
- 3 mornings a week, days can be flexible.
- General cleaning
- Room cleaning (making beds, changing linens, and ensuring rooms are tidy and organised for visiting guests).
- Bathroom cleaning (cleaning toilets, sinks, showers and baths and restocking toiletries).
- Kitchen Cleaning (washing dishes, loading dishwasher, cleaning worktops and appliances and wiping down surfaces).
- Laundry (washing, drying, folding and some ironing).
- Cooking (batch cooking, meal preparation and the occasional small dinner parties).
Additional Responsibilities:
- Running occasional, ad-hoc errands – a vehicle is available for use.
- Welcoming guests, offering refreshments etc.
- Maintaining well stocked cleaning supplies, pantry, kitchen supplies, toiletries.
- Answering the phone and door.
- Assistance with ad-hoc events.
- Occasional dog care, including walking (2x Parson Jacks, 1x Dachshund).
- Diary Management.
- Occasional house sitting.
