A rare opportunity for a keen, fit, enthusiastic and knowledgeable gardener to join our team in a large respected and established, yet developing garden near Reading, Berkshire.
The applicant should be self-motivated and have some experience and knowledge of gardening including some or all of the following:
- The use of all types of machinery, including fine turf cylinder mowers, rotary mowers, strimmers and hedge cutters.
- A chainsaw certificate would be a bonus but not essential.
- A broad knowledge of all fields of gardening including turf maintenance, herbaceous perennials, kitchen gardening, glasshouse production of houseplants, cut flowers, etc.
- The maintenance of water features.
They should be happy to work within our knowledgeable team and be confident to work alone, be presentable and experienced in working on a private estate with a clean driving license. On the job training is available.
