This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the CFO, with responsibility for driving financial performance, strategic decision-making, and transformation across a complex, multi-entity group.
You will sit at the centre of the business, working directly with senior leadership to translate strategy into commercial outcomes, operational execution, and measurable value creation.

This is a high-impact role in a scaling, PE-backed environment where finance is expected to be a driver of performance, not just reporting. You will play a key role in:
- Driving growth, margin expansion, and capital efficiency

Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Performance
- Partner with business unit leaders and central functions to shape and deliver strategy, budgets, and value creation plans
- Provide forward-looking insight on growth, margins, productivity, and investment decisions
- Act as a trusted challenger, ensuring decisions are grounded in commercial and financial reality
FP&A & Financial Leadership
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking across multiple entities
- Deliver clear, actionable reporting focused on business outcomes (not just variance analysis)
- Drive visibility across revenue, margin, opex, capex, working capital, and cash
Commercial Finance & Profitability
- Partner with commercial and operational teams on pricing, deal governance, and margin optimisation
- Analyse unit economics, recurring revenue dynamics, and cost to serve
- Support and challenge business cases, investments, and growth initiatives
Transformation & Value Creation
- Lead finance transformation initiatives (process, systems, data, reporting)
- Support broader business transformation and performance improvement programmes
- Drive simplification, automation, and better decision support across the organisation
Leadership
- Lead and develop a multi-layered finance team (~20+)
- Build capability across business partnering, analysis, and execution
- Create a culture of accountability, pace, and delivery
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a commercial, high-calibre finance leader who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment. Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (FD / Head of Finance / VP Finance) is essential.
Strong background in multi-entity, complex organisations and experience in private equity-backed and/or high-growth environments is required. Deep expertise in FP&A, commercial finance, and business partnering is necessary, along with a track record of driving transformation and measurable performance improvement.
Strong understanding of unit economics, pricing, and margin levers is important. The candidate must have a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge effectively, and be comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels. Experience across SaaS, technology, services, or multi-revenue model businesses is highly relevant.
