Privatal is a niche private equity headhunting agency focusing on placing talents across finance, value creation & strategy, transformation, and management due diligence across Pan-Europe on an interim and permanent basis.
The Opportunity: Privatal is currently mandated by a European private equity fund in their search for a new group Head of M&A for their professional service platform in London, UK. It is a buy-and-build platform looking to scale further ahead of an exit by the fund over the next couple of years.
The Head of M&A Profile:
- Experience in private equity-backed portfolio companies as Head of M&A, Corporate Development, or similar.
- Experience in multi-sided business models as part of the roll-up strategy.
- Experience in post-merger integration for the multi-side business model, driving consolidation, driving synergy realisation, and sourcing new targets to add for the platform.
- Experience in building up M&A organisations, teams, and supporting the finance department in the integration of newly acquired entities.
- Background in transactional services, investment banking, and/or other private equity driven portfolio companies.
- Experience in IT services, financial services, professional services, business service or similar is seen as a plus.
- Fluency in English, and ideally another European language.
