We’re seeking an exceptional and driven finance professional looking to expand their knowledge and experience to join our team as an Accountant in a Full Time permanent capacity, working from our Macquarie Park corporate office.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accountant will be integral in the day-to-day business support function to the wider business, working closely with the Business Partnering finance team to ensure all deliverables are met in accordance with deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of month end close, general ledger reconciliations and reporting
- Prepare and post month-end journals eg. prepayments, accruals, provisions, local and global intercompany recharges
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Open items reporting
- Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations and provide variance analysis
- Prepare Corporate overhead cost allocation and post journals
- Assist with the month-end preparation and finalisation of OneStream
- Back up and support Financial Shared Services Team

About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
- In depth understanding of accounting principles
- Customer service focus, eager to learn and be open to new challenges
- High attention to detail to ensure accurate reporting within deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Self-motivated
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot tables, Vlookups, SumIfs)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Desirable criteria:
- Strong analytical skills
- Previous exposure to Navision and OneStream
