As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide hands-on technical support for building management systems and building automation systems. You will troubleshoot issues, support partners and customers, contribute to knowledge sharing, and work closely with colleagues across Technical Support, Sales, and Priva HQ. This role can be remote, hybrid or on-site depending on your location within the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support for BEMS solutions via phone, remote access, and on-site visits
- Investigate, analyse, and resolve BEMS hardware and software issues
- Escalate complex BEMS cases to R&D while maintaining ownership until resolution
- Support and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and partner enablement
- Contribute to documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement
- Support Sales with BEMS-related technical input and product demonstrations
What we’re looking for
- Essential
- Experience in the BEMS / building automation industry / HVAC
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Customer-facing communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop BEMS product expertise
- Located in the UK and willing to travel as needed
- Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, M-Bus
- Experience with cloud-connected BEMS platforms
- Background in technical support, commissioning, or service roles within BEMS
